Ms. Aaron was born April 8, 1914, and died January 7, 1994.  She is buried in Memory Lawn Cemetery, Natchitoches, LA.

Services for Ellen Rae Young Aaron were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, (1994), in Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Richard Taylor officiating.  Burial followed in Memory Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Aaron, 79, of Natchitoches, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 7 at her residence.

Mrs. Aaron was a native of Minden, a retired teacher and guidance counselor for Natchitoches Parish School Board.

She was a member of Tinity Episcopal Church, Kappa Kappa Iota Society, Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Louisiana Retired Teachrers Association and the E.C.W.

She was preceded in death by husband, John M. Aaron, Sr.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John M. Aaron, Jr., and Janette Aaron of Natchitoches; and William R. Aaron and Linda Aaron of Baton Rouge; four grandchidren, John M. Aaron, III, Janet Marie Aaron, Billy R. Aaron Jr., and Jennifer Leigh Aaron; one brother, William H. Young Jr., of Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers were Robert Sheppard, Ken Aaron, Rick Harrington, Walter Ledet, Mack James and Bob Dixon.

Honorary pallbearers were John Aaron III and Billy Aaron.
