Bessie K. Clemons

Services for Miss Bessie K. Clemons will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 5 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Roy officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Lawn Cemetery.

Miss Clemons, 86, of Mansfield died at 6:30 a.m., Monday, July 31, 1995, at DeSoto General Hospital in Mansfield. 

A resident of Mansfield, Miss Clemons was a former resident of Natchitoches, where she taught in Natchitoches Parish for 46 years at Cloutierville, Provencal and Natchitoches High School.  She was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Concerption and worked for the Natchitoches Parish Library on the book van after her retirement.

She is survived by three nephews, Jon, Don and Joe Clemons.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday with a 7 p.m. rosary and from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday.
